Private, First Class Emmet K. Cramer died as apart of the 261st Medical Battalion while out at sea. His mission was to help allied soldiers who were wounded or in critical condition during the many battles in World War 2. Cramer left his life as a mailman and and only child to help out with the war effort in any way he could, dying before he had the chance to start his own family. We honor Emmet Cramer today for his efforts to help his fellow soldiers in need, his sacrifice will not be in vein.
